The twin-screw steam compression heat pump system is applied to boosting, heating, and transporting various types of waste steam, secondary steam, low-pressure steam, and flash steam. It can compress and transport saturated, under-saturated, and superheated steam, as well as process steam, and it also allows liquid components to be present in the steam during operation. The system is suitable for transporting gas volumes between 0.2 to 20 tons per hour, with a single-stage temperature rise exceeding 50°C, a single-stage pressure ratio up to 5, and a maximum discharge steam temperature not exceeding 230°C. It can also operate under negative inlet pressure conditions. The main applications include the following production scenarios:
- Heat pump distillation: In the refining and chemical industries, especially in fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, it is used in distillation and evaporation processes for vapor-phase steam recovery, heating, pressurization, and reuse.
- MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression): Recovery and reuse of secondary steam in environmental water treatment and various solution evaporation and crystallization, as well as in food drying, pharmaceutical crystallization, and purification processes.
- Waste steam boosting: Boosting and transporting pipeline steam, waste heat steam, and low-grade steam.
- Flash steam recovery: Recovery, boosting, heating, and external transport of various flash steam generated in industries such as chemical, dyeing, papermaking, power, textile, solar energy, and food.
- Coupled application with high-temperature water source heat pumps: Utilizing the sensible heat in high-temperature waste water in conjunction with water source heat pumps to produce medium- and low-pressure steam
