Petrochemical environmental protection equipment has ushered in a new era of "precise pollution

Under the dual impetus of the "dual carbon" goals and new environmental protection policies, the petrochemical industry is undergoing a comprehensive transformation from "end-of-pipe treatment" to "precise pollution control". As the core carrier of pollution control, petrochemical environmental protection equipment has achieved full-chain management of pollutants from precise identification, effective disposal to resource recycling through technological innovation and digital upgrading, injecting solid impetus into the green transformation of the industry. Policy dividends provide a safeguard for precise pollution control. The "Several Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Environmental Protection Equipment Manufacturing Industry" jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and two other departments clearly states that efforts should be made to promote technological breakthroughs and domestic substitution in petrochemical environmental protection equipment, with the goal of achieving a hard target of reducing pollutant emission intensity by 50%. Technological innovation reconstructs the precise pollution control system. In the field of waste gas treatment, the ultra-low leakage breathing valve has reduced the VOCs emission value of storage tanks from 3000ppm to below 20ppm. Sinopec Refining & Chemical has achieved an annual reduction of 64 tons by applying this equipment. The intelligent denitrification system, combined with Internet of Things technology, has increased the emission compliance rate to 98%. In terms of water pollution control, the "ultrafiltration + reverse osmosis" dual-membrane process has enabled the reuse rate of industrial wastewater to exceed 70%, and the petrochemical base in Xuwei New District, Lianyungang, saves 40 million tons of fresh water annually. In the field of soil pollution remediation, micro-disturbance detection technology has achieved sub-meter-level pollution localization. After its application by Guangzhou Petrochemical, the cost of pollution control has been saved by over 20 million yuan. Coordinated development broadens the path for precise pollution control. The "Manufacturing-Application Joint Laboratory" model has achieved remarkable results. The verification platform jointly built by a certain petrochemical park has compressed the industrialization cycle of new membrane modules to 10 months. Green finance policies reduce the cost of equipment renewal for enterprises, and the combination of interest subsidies from the central and local governments activates market demand. In the global layout, domestic dry flue gas purification systems have replaced those from Europe and America in the refining and chemical projects along the "Belt and Road" thanks to their cost advantages
